Information you submit
When you request support, begin onboarding, or enable a weekly merchant report, we process the information you provide, such as your business email address, store context, report preference, and message. Limited technical and usage information supports security and site operation.
Shopify merchant data
Recommend processes product and variant identifiers, catalog details, order identifiers and timestamps, purchased product identifiers and quantities, order totals and currency, and Mainspring attribution properties needed for ranking and aggregate reporting.
Purpose limitation
Merchant data is used to synchronize the catalog, generate recommendations, apply merchant controls and scheduled campaigns, operate requested optimization and reporting features, and measure recommendation performance and attributed revenue. A report email address is used only for the requested merchant report and service communication. Data is not sold or used for advertising.
Service providers
Vercel supports hosting and analytics, Neon supports database storage, and Resend supports transactional email. These providers process information on Mainspring’s behalf.
Retention, deletion, and security
Shopify merchant data is retained while the merchant uses the app and is deleted after uninstall or an applicable Shopify redaction request. Access is limited, and data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

To request access, correction, or deletion, email support@mainspringplatform.com with “Privacy request” and the connected store address.
